Symposium 2013

This year’s tubs.CITY Symposium will be dedicated to the CCC research topics
It takes place on October 30th/31st in Braunschweig, Germany, with the title

„Managing change and autonomy for critical applications“

Speakers are research group members as well as international experts. The CCC research group members will give a tutorial on the topics and objectives of CCC.

The 5th annual symposium of the tubs.CITY will highlight the challenges and solutions of application updates on safety critical and high availability systems.
The symposium will start with an overview of the change requirements and current technologies in the two application domains, automotive and space electronics. The use cases and research objects will be demonstrated. Talks on advances in embedded hardware and software architectures outline the present and future in the field will be next. The first day closes with a tutorial on the research topics of CCC. The second day will highlight important aspects of the research work, with sessions on contracting, security, and incremental optimization. The symposium will close with a panel “Autonomy and evolution in safety critical systems – mission impossible, necessary evil, or great opportunity?” where CCC scientists will discuss with representatives from the automotive and avionics industry.
