January 23rd, 2014: MOBILE

  • Speaker: Torben Stolte
  • Title: MOBILE – an introduction to one of the most powerful electric cars in the world
  • Abstract: The over-actuated research vehicle MOBILE – designed and build at the Institute of Control Engineering at TU Braunschweig – will serve as demonstrator for the application of CCC findings in the automotive domain. The talk will give a short overview about the development of MOBILE from the first idea to the drivable vehicle and will present the actual project status and actual challenges. In addition, possible fields of research apart from the CCC context will be outlined. Following, a selection of technical aspects potentially relevant to the CCC project will be presented in greater detail, e.g. the utilized ECUs and network architecture. The latter can serve as a starting point for questions and discussion.
