  • Abstract: We use a small mobile robot platform to develop and test some applications for space exploration scenarios. It is equipped with a stereo camera on the basis of a Zynq-7000 SoC which can be used for tasks like object recognition, visual odometry and mapping. The stereo camera is implemented partly in hardware (reconfigurable FPGA) and software and we want to utilize it as an initial mcc use case.
